Operates on approved ballast only. 5 Year Warranty. Replacement for 12W version. This is a plastic tube shroud and is safe in food or shatterproof applications. Philips InstantFit plug-and-play replacement lamps work on most instant start electronic T8 ballast. The ballast does not need to be removed! Simply turn off the power, remove the fluorescent T8 lamp and insert the new InstantFit LED T8! These lamps will not work on rapid start or T12 fluorescent systems.
