GFCI Outlets

Show Filters

Ground fault circuit interrupter or GFCI outlets are specialized electrical outlets with a built-in circuit breaker. They are designed to detect interruptions in current and interrupt the electrical flow to prevent electrical shock and other issues. When this occurs, the outlet can be returned to working order by pressing the reset button. Installing GFCI outlets is a great way to promote electricity safety and the national electric code requires GFCIs in many areas, particularly within the proximity of sinks.
