There are many different types of fluorescent tube bases, but among the most common are T5, T8, and T12, with T8 being arguably the most common. The difference between these lights is chiefly in their size. For example, a T8 fluorescent light bulb is one inch wide, whereas a T12 is an inch and a half wide.
These lights take different sockets, and whether a T8 light is a single pin or a bi-pin light, it will require a T8 socket. Here we offer sockets not only for fluorescent lamps and lighting fixtures, but for halogen lights, candelabra lights with E12 bases, and more, including accessories.
