PROMOLUX applies
leading edge technology, specifically directed to enhance
retail display and improve merchandising of perishables.
Our longer life bulbs give true color definition to
products while having a lower amount of damaging UV
radiation.

Thousands of
North American retailers are upgrading the lighting in their
display cases for perishables to our specialty lamps. PROMOLUX is
a pioneer in the development of merchandising lamps for
perishables and other items. It has been established in this
market for over fifteen years in Europe and ten years in North
America through its Canadian subsidiary, MGV Inc.. PROMOLUX
manufactures lamps for many markets, in North America and abroad,
so worldwide standards are maintained.
Excellent Pay Back:
Supermarket
managers are considering PROMOLUX an ideal investment since in
many cases the pay back on extended shelf life alone can pay for
the bulbs in less than three months. Light sensitive products,
such as most foods, shrink, discolor and quickly dry out under
regular lamps. With PROMOLUX lamps, these same items realize a
longer shelf-life while maintaining their healthy appearance,
saving you money. PROMOLUX lamps cost substantially more to
manufacture than regular lamps. They are multi-coated with rare
earth phosphors that are most often found in coating television
picture tubes than used in making fluorescent lamps. Phosphors
used by PROMOLUX can cost up to 20 times more than regular
phosphors used in other fluorescent lamps. This, in addition to
the special coatings to control UV radiation and to protect the
lamps from changing their faithful color reproduction, increase
the production cost when compared to 3000-4100 Kelvin lamps.
