Atlanta Light Bulbs had it's beginnings in the early 80's. To be exact the company was officially incorporated by Gary Root (Owner & President) in 1981. Atlanta Light Bulbs started off selling tanning bed lamps and other odd lamps. As the number of odd lamps and the demand for lighting products grew in the Atlanta Metro area so did Gary's business. Over the years the company has branched out and gained new product lines and has entered into many specialized lighting areas.
Today, the company is still headquartered 1/4 mile from where it had it's first day of business back in 1981. Our current facility has over 12,000 square feet and it is home to the largest supply of specialty lighting in the Atlanta area. We have a walk in sales counter that is open 8-5 Monday thru Friday. The public is welcome to take part in the wholesale pricing.
Atlanta Light Bulbs caters to many of Atlanta's elite businesses and Firms. Our account list is growing day to day due to the hard work of our employees. Many of whom have been with us from the beginning. We appreciate all of the business we receive and we are honored to serve those who are our customers. We take pride in learning who our customers are and personalizing our business.
We have two locations now in the Atlanta Metro Area. Our Tucker location is located off Mountain Industrial Boulevard. When on Mountain Industrial Boulevard turn onto Hammermill Road (there is a Suntrust Bank on the corner) and proceed 2/10 of a mile to Auger Drive. Turn right onto Auger and follow the road to the parking lot, at the parking lot turn right and the Atlanta Light Bulbs showroom is located to your left in Suite G. To get to our Marietta location go North on Cobb Parkway to the BIG CHICKEN, turn right onto Roswell Road, go 7/10 of a mile and we are on the right in the East Marietta Shopping Center.
